Possible to board ship wrecks ?

I did the scientist experiment mission where you have to blow up a ship, after that i claimed the base and flew back to a shipwreck in my spacesuit.

Before dying i went below it trying to get in or using the ship's menu by right clicking there was no way to board the ship.

Is there a way to do this or hasn't it been implemented yet ? the shipwreck came from some criminal i shot nearby.

I didn't think you could or it was every possible to board a shipwreck..

Shipwrecks are dead and gone. As far as I know, there is absolutely no plans to change that.. It's destoryed afterall.


Abonded ships is what you're thinking of. You want to have a pilot eject with the ship still running. or force board it with marines.

Yes, some have internal loot areas you access through a cargo door with a panel next to it you repair. Then inside is a crawl space kinda puzzle interior you have to repair more consoles then loot.
