how long does it take to do a full playthrough of...

while x4 is getting up and running im goign to do a story mission run from x2 up to rebirth. in each game, how long do people think the story will take?

I like this idea. Well it depends on how much you cheese I guess. How much do you know of those titles and are you intending to do them as fast as possible?

i played x2 when it came out. amazing. never was able to build an empire
i played R and TC when they came out. amazing. never was able to build an empire
i played AP when it came out. amazing. nevver was able to build an empire.
in x4 ive probably gotten just as far as the rest as i already have 50 hours in the game. thats right 50. granted i was sleeping for some of those.

in short. ive never bothered to stay focused long enough to finish any of the stories.

would i try to do them as fast as possible? yes. will i be able to anticipate the story requirements, no.

I got 652 hours out of Rebirth and 53 hours so far in this one. I can't even imagine what my time the the X3 games was in total. The game has its goals, missions storylines and usually significant DLC content. But if you can make your own goals you'll exponentially increase the hours you can put into these games.

yeah i dont want to putter around in the universe like i did before. i just want to get my lore straight in anticipation of this new universe being bug fixed and balanced.

Every time I play a new X Game my character is always a descendent of my very first X2 character, way back when. Only back in day we ran Brennon Corp. it’s now Malkuth Industries.

I brought my Otani Star Empire from Rebirth. All of my ships are OSE Enterprise, or whatever. :)
