Is there a way to get ships & stations to auto repair

I figure if you have a crew the thing will auto repair. This isn't happening (maybe because that is broke). Is there a way to get ships and stations to repair themselves over time?

I think they do auto repair however not to 100%, have you got crew on board or just a captain?

your crew can repair most of problem on your ship but rest you need to repair with your repair laser or use a repair bots . Or if you are lazy you can donwload mod where you can make from S type ship repair ship for example . There is always more ways how to do it all of em are cheeper then repair it for money :)

Personally, I think they should repair it to 100%. I'm sure you won't keep your job if you didn't do 100% of your job.

I actually looked for a mod and I couldn't find it. Maybe I was using the wrong keywords.

like you say they are suppouse to do it on 100% but you know this game got some bugs so they dont :( mostly my crew and i got a 5 star crew do it on 90% rest i mostly repair with laser in my space suit :) i was doing the same in X3 there was so expensive repairs :D

M, L and XL ships will auto repair. Stations with repair drones should also auto repair but might take a very long time (a good part of an hour) before they do so.

Things without repair drons repair at 1/10 the speed. As far as I am aware S ships cannot self repair. Self repair percentage ranges from ~60% to 100% based on skill.

Thanks. The game is already good. Like it isn't great, but I can see it getting there too. IMO it's a lot better than X3

You are right this game is awesome and it can be much better then X3 but you know they need to add lots of content then this game will be best in X series i hope , More then 300 hrs in game speaks for all i love it :)

Has anyone successfully levelled up engineering in their crew by damaging ships? I have a vague idea this is how we are supposed to progress to wonder crews that repair ships fully, but I haven't seen it work that way, yet.

Admittedly I haven't tried to farm it or anything - I don't think this would be cheating as you are actually making them do the repair work, I just think it would make you a horrible boss. :)

Crew level up as the captain does, but slower. As such like always, auto trading for stations is the fastest way.
