20 rep with ARG 1.005M
did make me laugh out loud lol
wouldnt have noticed if Tajin hadn't commented lol
It's entirely random, just go around a few stations until you find a trader offering a good price. Of course, you *should* get better offers the higher your reputation is with a given faction. That said, I have +30 rep with ARG, TEL, and PAR and they all have prices ranging from 900K up to something like 1.2m so perhaps reputation doesn't have much of an effect.
This means we cannot tell you which place is better.
I`m surprised some people don`t understand this.
p.s. however, we can tell you what will generally sell, like Spaceweed, but again if too much is sold, things change, and suddenly spaceweed is not worth so much. Again all dependent on your game.
The economy is dependant on wares that require ships to buy/sell/distribute, not items in your personal inventory.
since its an economy i thought one group might value something more than the other, the desription of the item does says its favored by the paranid, but that other races like it too, thus it would stand to reason the paranid would pay a little more for it. and as has been pointed out already reputation doesnt seem to be the deciding factor, supply and demand has an effect of course as we all know, but it still seems that initialy some races pay more for certain things even if they have a supply of them. thanks for answering.
