Thrustmaster Cougar MFD

I read some people were having trouble using the Cougar MFD panels in X4. I was wondering if anyone has tried to connect one without using a joystick? I currently am using an XBOX Controller and was thinking about buying the Cougar MFDs. Any information would be helpful as I do not want to buy them if they will not work in X4.

I dont think they work with X 4, I know for a fact that they do not work in X Rebirth, but you can use them in Evochron Legacy and in Falcon BMS, and they are worth the money for those games, especially Falcon BMS.

I got a refund on X 4, so that is why I don't know for sure if it supports the MFDs, but since it did no support track ir yet, and they are lots of things they need to fix, I doubt it. I do plan on picking up X 4 again, I believe it will be an amazing game. For now I'm learning to play X Rebirth and Evochron Legacy.

MFD panels? For what in this game? Actually I can think of some uses...... But as far as the ship displays......there's no use. For having the map open ..... would be nice.

I'd like to see those MFDs in the ship actually display things.

Oh we're dreaming now...and thats not a bad thing.

Imagine the ship displays actually displaying real useful information like Evochron Legacy....AND being able to plug in external MFDs or other devices that allowed you to use the MFD as if it were the ship screen.
