Sorry to tell you that but it is bugged if you wait too long. He only show up right after you accept mission. That mission is common so you will find another on another station easily.

i hace crafted a security suppressor (an forbidden item) . but can't see where to sell it. are the forbidden items bugged too ?

Just hold on to them for now. Black market suppose to buy them but that also bugged. Hopefully Egosoft will fix it soon.

If you go to a pirate base they will have all of what you don't need, an then some that you do, but they will try to attack an robbed you before you get there, just put them on ignore an hurry to the base, with a -5 rating you could buy what is available, and if its not enough, leave the sector (hurry) and then come back, AND it will be MORE there. ( I do it all the time...)

Wait.. you don't know where the Pirate Base is? Ahh, a pirate won't give out their secrets, I had to follow one to a unknown sector to locate it... (it almost was too fast for me).

You know, i probably never would have thought to follow pirates to their secret hideout. Would have just assumed they were spawned cannon fodder for me to shoot at (if i want) with no real direction in their tiny little lives.

This one pirate was unbeatable, to the extent it was a girl... (like me) an most girls know that we do not like to be "beaten", so I chased her after repairing my ship in a safe area while keeping my eyes on the radar for her to come back (this was a one on one fight).

After repairing the ship I took after her, am gonna knock her senseless was my frame of mind, but she kept going faster an faster ahead of me, I could not keep up with her, so I highlighted her to follow her (am going to beat the poo out of her (she was throwing misslies at me which was unique to me as I haven't seen that before) so anyway .. I followed her with that intention, and then noticed I was going into a unknowned sector that I haven't seen before or even knew it was there.

I kept following her till I seen the base, and then abandoned the fight mission and decided I was going to see if I could land there with my -5 SCA rating.

The deck was almost full of crews all around, but they were snobby toward me, I wasn't interested in them anyway, I just wanted to see what wares they had.

Anything that was available that I could not get elsewhere was there. If you want to know, you will have to locate the base and then buy into the blackmarket there to get those nice wares you been needing to craft your bombs and the ones you thought you could not find.
