Trade and Fight ranks
Is there a list of these anywhere? They are different than in X3TC/AP, would be nice to know what the ranks and requirements are.

Trade and Fight Ranks don't really have specific requirements.

to level up your Trade rank, make money through trade runs and stations. (either manually or automatically)

Fight Ranks work the same way, but I'm not sure if Fight ranks require it all to be done manually or if your own ships can level it up for you. I never really got into having fleets of combat vessels in the previous games to see if my fight rank would go up without me blowing things up.

Here is a raw data dump of the ranks and their values. This can be used to guess how much more effort one has to perform to gain ranks and where you currently are with respect to 30.

One could probably turn it into a table which would be much more readable, but I have not got around to it.

Side FYI on how you earn points (from what I can tell):

Fight --
Ships destroyed x1
Cap ships destroyed x30
Turrets destroyed x1
Ships claimed x10
Ships boarded x100
Missions completed x3

Trade--
Gates traversed x1
Accellerators traversed x1
Anomalies traversed x10
Discounts unlocked x3
Commissions unlocked x3
Trades executed x1
Trades total value /10000 (divide)
Station modules constructed x100
Staff hired x1

There's a reason why these aren't going to be high levels any time soon, particularly the fight ranks. Boarding ships, the largest reward of x100, would have to be done 25.6M times to max out the fight rank. Large trades, worth several million credits (and thus several hundred rank points), will have to be done millions of times to max out the trade rank.

Even if you're just aiming for the rank 16 achievements, it'll probably take you tens thousands of kills and missions and over 1B in trades.

Trade rank 16 isn't that hard, after you set some auto-traders and auto-miners and some profitable stations, the trades makes by them, quickly increase your trade rank. I'm actually at level 19 (And of course, building some megastations also helps, specially if they are designed to supply shipyards/wharfs/Equipement docks).

iám lvl 19 trader too have a running shipyard is a monymaschiene i build one capital ship after an other for npc´s and they spend me each time high amounts of monwy so i think it will be easy to get trader 30 BUT it will need a long time but the figth lvl is a different story the enemys didnt have that much capitals @ the moment i build capitals sell them to PGS (the german name ist pakt der grünen schuppe dont know the eng name) and destroy them to collect capiatal kills

English name is Scale Plate Green.
But if you like to increase your combat rank, instead of destroying those capitals, board them, then shell them againg, then board them again... Boarding capitals increase the combat rank faster than destroying them.

Something not good!
I'm on level 24 in combat-fight (11'000 - 16'000)
Since then I boarded about 70 capship (100 x 70, maybe 80) And destroy few... and lot of turrets.
And I still on 24!!!

This post is well over 2 yrs old...an there has been updates after this...adding to this makes no sense.

The Values had been updated to current values it is still relevant.
