Has anyone found a way to remove buy orders from a station?
Some of my stations are buying goods I don't want them to buy, because I produce them. Yet, the managers sometimes add a buy order. I guess it has to do with the order in which you build modules. But any way to remove those to save on credits?

There are per-ware “Restrict trade” options in the logical view of the station’s production. This will lock out the npc’s.

Yeah, but also from buying.

If you’re producing them, why are you buying them?

Because the manager thinks its a good idea. Did you read my OP at all?
I don't want to buy those wares, I am producing them. It is either the general station logic or my stupid manager.

I did read it. I’m failing to see the issue.

Restricting the trade will prevent the manager from buying them. I suppose an alternative is that, if you can see the buy price, there should be a way to manually set the price so high no one wants to buy it.

Unless what you really mean is that you want npc traders to be able to buy the excess wares but not sell them. In that case just slap some extra trade ships on the station and those intermediate wares will get sold eventually.

Then why do you answer -.-? The issue is, I want to sell those goods, but not buy them.
Nothing else to add. And no, I don't want only my traders to sell them, I didn't build multiple docks for no reason:

That station is buzzing and brimming with clients.

If you’re unhappy with the answers, it’s usually a failing of the question.

In this case there isn’t, to my knowledge, an answer you’ll like. But if someone else has the answer, I’d love to hear it. Who knows, I might find myself in a similar situation at some point.

Super easy fix =)

Click the good in logistical view - untick autoprice for buy - slide slider to the left all the way

Soooo

Energy Cells:

Buy (auto price)
1-100

Sell (auto price)
1-100

Slide buy to left, energy cells are now around 11

Sell should be above 11 depending on your economy.

So your station ****CAN*** buy energy cells if somebody is dumb enough to sell them you, and you'll sell them at whatever the economy auto price is. win win.

NOW if you want to outright NOT buy them, 100% dont buy this but still be able to sell? Your ♥♥♥♥ out of luck on that one. Only way to do that is restrict trade to faction.
