Though it's even harder to say in the case of Xenon (and HARD KHAAK), because the encyclopedia doesn't list weapon mounts. Not even for ships you own. (It also does not list ship capacity for carriers, huuuuuur).
So as players it's hard to tell if most xenon even HAVE turrets.
Its a bunch of things but by mid game (8-10h) players have progressed to the point they totally outgun Xenon or Khaak in 1 on 1 or even 2-3 on 1.
The lower tiered Xenon and Khaak ships are fine but the middle an upper tiers need tweaking. To me the upper tiers should have utterly awesome firepower.
That or those two should vastly outnumber player and empire factions, one or the other.
Right now the only way the Xenon have killed me is with thousands of mines in their own sectors.
XR? You mean X:Rebirth? If so, why is Egosoft lifting and droping a rock on their foot?
"I wasn't interested in—and X: Rebirth, which arrived in 2013, was a straight-up disaster—enough to earn it a spot in our "Worst Launches in PC Gaming History" list. "
So XR was a disaster and they still add those godawful ugly ships in the game??? What is Egosoft thinking?
What kind of insane logic are you using here? Wow. Overreact much?
And I didn't say it was the exact model as in the file they used in XR. It has the same appeareance so, ya know, reason would say the turrets just maybe, just might, be in the same spots.
Yeah I did overreact a little too much but the new ships have some flaws. I haven't played XR so im not used to seeing those ships and i dont like them. Il just wait for a mod or something to come out to repplace them.
I used the tactic an experienced pilot used in the Orville series called "Hugging the donkey.".
The Nemesis Vanguard is to big of a target. you cant strafe/roll to evade properly.
For now I recommend using a M ship as it proves a much larger target so compensates for turret and gun rotation undershoot.
What is meant to happen is that if you are in a S ship laser turrets never miss you. That is why laser turrets cost the most of all turrets because they are meant to eat S ships like they are nothing but are too weak to pose a threat to M ships.
