You do realize that he actually didnt like warfare. He developed the V2 because he loved space, dreamed of building rockets to get man there, had to serve (at that time you just about every military age German male had to serve), and it was the only way to get funding to do rocket research. Not every German soldier or even SS man was a monster, there were plenty that were just people. Its almost like you should judge them for, I dont know, their actions. Seriously, research the man.

I don't need to. I am German. I know the most prominent figures of WW2. And Von Braun was member of the NSDAP, member of the SS and also involved in the strategies of WW2. He also built the V2 using KZ inhabitants and forced labor. The man is disgusting and the interest of the Americans in rockets was the only thing that kept him from hanging in Nuremberg.
