The Kha'Ak
Have a total of 5 ships at their installation....
There base only has like 4 stations, and there is 5 small fighters..and nothing else.

We need Egosoft or someone to mod the Xenon/Kha'ak to actually do something, they don't even attack satellites you put next to them. I was excited when I found my first Xenon sector, but now I'm just disappointed.

Enemy AI seems really poor. Like really poor atm. They need to be made seriously more aggressive, they need to have larger fleets, and squads, they need to be generating ships at a 2 to 1 rate of regular factions, and thier construction time and stations should be halved.

i think its tied to your fighting rank. this was the case in x3. the higher the rank the stronger the enemies.

They attacked my trader in the middle of a secure sector, as far as that applies to this game.
just poof out of nowhere a khaak fighter, nobody tries to intervene, right next to a station..

Bye trader ship, byeeee.. cause turrets refuse to work right.

Yes okay "escort ships" is an option, but against 1 single fighter? that cheats and literally comes out of nowhere in the middle of a map with tons of ships flying. (so there was nothing there before)

AI "police" is lame and doesnt do ♥♥♥♥ other then scripted events it seems.

well at least you have some enemies, in my game the is the xenon and khaak are gone, pirates are non existant

Well normally its the same here, which is why it was so unexpected.

It was the first enemy i’d seen in a long time.

Yah, there is definitely a problem. They may have to cheat the Xenon and Khaak AI a bit and give them a surge of resources for ships when they are on the brink of defeat.

As it stands now they are effectively wiped out in my game.
I did not even take part in any combat as of yet, still, they are pretty much wiped out in my game as well.

Thats the issue with so little sectors. Nothing to develop in, everything is pretty much already taken.

I think the only solution that might work is to set hard caps on the number of combat ships each empire can have at any given time.

And give both the Xenon and Khaak a single sector each which is not accessible by players or the AI empires which they can constantly build in so they're forces never get to zero.

Or force the empires/factions to actually fight eachother instead of simply giving you solo missions to go commando on a deathball of 30 ships. I have routinely seen empires in my 30h game just ball up a stupid amount of ships and just sit there patrolling even though they are supposed to be at war with others.

Argons in particular don't seem to really care, they have their army of miners in Argon Prime and just sit pretty making money without being harassed at all while they spew out massive fleets that do nothing.

mm, argon and palanid holy order supposed to fight, but their fleets are sitting there doing nothing, and they got large ones sitting idle

It`s a litte different in my game. Building positions are different in my game. I have a building more away at the left side and the other are all together.
Maybe they have a small start station and expand slowly?

And I see another difference. The other blue stations positions are the same in my game but I don`t have HAT or SCA Pharma stations. I only have PGS Stations.
