I dont see that being possible. The transfer.
1) drop cargo
2) get into that spacesuit, baby
3) dock to your another ship
4) pickup cargo
I hope teleport tech can be used to teleport goods in the future for close range.
Some people have said you need an NPC pilot in both, and you don't fly the ship, some have said you can fly one, and NPC in the other. Personally only gotten it to work letting the NPC captains do their thing, they fly out to space, one drops the cargo, the other picks it up. Kinda stupid and round about way of doing it, especially if both ships were already docked...
Do satellites count as wares? I’ve not played with that option yet, no need to so far.
In space I had this Option.
1.Select the ship from that you want to Transfer.
2. right click on the Ship you want it and use Transfer ...
Well for one it can save you that space walk from one ship to another right now by just teleporting over. X3 did have transfer devices that were basically cargo teleporters. Rebirth you just needed cargo drones on one of the ships.
It's like wanting to carry out a simple task like picking a cup up to have a drink but then not having the ability of your arms. Such a simple thing is a f#ck on.
I had two ships parked next to each other, and the option to "transfer wares" did not appear. I remember being able to do this in X3, but is it broken here?
