How do i order my captain to fly my ship for me ?

So i've been struggling to give my crew orders, i start guidance to wherever and then i speak to the captain or try it on the map.

Click the ship on the map or property list, then right click to issue commands.

Open the map, then select the ship you want to order, then right click the map for a list of orders you can give. Other orders are set by changing default behaviour in the Behaviour tab of ship information.

Select the ship on your map, then right-click somewhere else on the map to open a context menu from which you can give an order.

Thanks, i see them now, i'm looking for the hotkey to tell him to undock.

No hotkey that I know of. The big thing to remember is that you can't order a ship directly while sitting in its cockpit. Sitting there enables complete manual control.

I found out the hard way, i played x3 for a short moment, it was hard to get into but a great game i could tell, i have the patience to learn this.

Is there a way i can make the captain fly to my guidance destination ? the fly to command is only sectors or for stations already discovered.

Use shift+A or enter menu command to enable autopilot. It requires NPC captain to be present on ship (named in info as relief pilot). I did not manage to get autopilot to use fast travel so usage is pretty limited.
