auto trade question
hi , i bought average 8 medium Trading ships and set them to "auto trading" but i feel like i don't do benefit , i keep seeing "blabla sold blabla for x crdts" in green but this is not "true benefit" where can we see the "true benefit" i mean the difference beetween buy / sell crédits earned , i feel like i m doing 0 credits i even feel like losing credits .... i put with a scout ship a lot of satellite next to each manufacturing station. so my questions are.

Can we see the true benefit of trading i mean the difference buy / sell instead of the sell only ?

And why does i feel like losing credits instead of winning monney ? >.<

Because you probably are losing money.

The AI autotrader right now is pretty bad. I mean they work... But the margins are really low. You're better off using miners over traders. And if you trade at all.. Best to it manually, or give very specific commands.

Personally with dozens of satellites covering multiple systems, I've never lost money with them. You're aware of the money due from trades right?

the fact is they stay in the same system keep tradding ♥♥♥♥ instead of going everywhere i don't knwo why they stay here because i told them to trade in galaxy (i actually try something is to make them move into another system then restart the order "trade in galaxy" to see if they move in others sectors.)
And i'm not rly aware of the trade because i don't see any option to see "true benefit" as i said so i only see what i sell and for how much but i didn't saw before for how much they bought you know ? the i can't rly say if i win or no but my monney doesn't rly grow and i let them trade for like 2hours i did 3M to 3,1M with 8 medium cargo

Edit : i just losed one cargo because he have been killed by police because he was tradding illegal things , i saw in his settings " drop cargo when police told you to do" ... now only god know why he didn't do it ...

yeah we can't see how much our profit is per trade. you could be making 1 credit or 1000 credits and the game doesn't tell you. it just gives your a green or red figure, not the exact profit/loss

rly ? lol this is absolutely a ♥♥♥♥ thing ... how did they release tradding system whitout implementing basics economics things is it a joke ? i was the most optimist of players and even with bug and critic i was like "it's ok guys it's the game we were waiting for" but now ... im rly disappointed

AutoTrade via right clicking the map after selecting a ship doesn't work very well I've found, but it's better than nothing if you lack the 3 star pilot required to AutoTrade specified goods. (Edit) Until the pilots are sufficiently skilled to use the default behaviour method.

In case you didn't realise https://i.imgur.com/AlSRXZi.png is where you setup all the ship orders, I really hope we get some a mod for an X3 style command system, because while this works fine, it feels so alien compared to the method I've used for years.
