Inventory???

Hi maybe this is obvious BUT I can't do it! I found some crystals, shot them, pressed "O" to collect them. I got the message "Dropped container collected", how do I see this in my ship's inventory? My ship's storage under ship info still says 0/150, nothing in storage and zero wares. Any help would be appreciated.

Try personal inventory

There are two types of inventory. Ship inventory and player inventory. That would be a player inventory. Go to the player tab and look for the bag icon. That's your player inventory. Also, you sell that via traders in the stations. Pro tip: Buy all of the Needles, Sedatives and Bandages you can while you are there and craft First Aid Kits. This will help GREATLY with your initial starting income. Can't afford them all? Buy one of each for around 1500 and sell it for 11,000. Then go buy more.

Press M. At the top of the screen click the peronal button then in the left there will be an inventory button

Man thanks! I was really getting tired of looking. I also don't understand the firework looking things from the tutorial. Yes I can hear a radio broadcast of someone asking for help, then what?

Then you have to get REALLLY REALLY close to that point and wait. Something will happen

Open your short range scanner (Shift + 2) and get really close to the firework. Sometimes it might be just a blueprint, which shows in the message area bottom left, other times it might be missions. If mission then a screen on the bottom right should pop up telling you to press F.

Apparently during the 1.2 patch, all stations in the galaxy were raided for their sedatives and they also destroyed the production lines. Hence, sedatives are not available for trade anymore. Must find them as loot, I would guess.
