Finding Unstable Crystals

I've got a mission to deliver unstable crystals to get access to unsanctioned trade offers, but whre do I get unstable crystals?

If you ever see something sparkling on an asteroid, go up close to it and start shooting the crystal you find. That crystal can drop 2 things one of them being an unstable crstal.

I have a ton of them from picking crystals off asteroids. They are the number one thing I keep getting chased by police for.

I've seen em for sale once in Second Contact, at the "You have to walk there, no elevator access, have fun!" vendor at a generic soundint "HAT Free Port"

But murphy's law meant they only had 4 of em. I went for a walk, came back, they didn't have any more in stock an hour later.

Hopefully whenever both of us get around to having all our crystals or space fly eggs needed, we won't have that "bar isn't accessible" bug I've heard about
