Just curious b/c I found a million credit trade route per run. Autotrade is working as long as I put my Mercury Vanguard at the station that has the low cost product and then set them to trade within a range. You kind of have to 'nudge' them in the right direction and then they figure it out.
Edit: In x3 they also allowed building in a 3d map, but you don't need them for that in x4.
Just the same, as regular satellites, but 75 km radius instead of 30 km.
Advanced Satellites would provide more coverage than two satellites, require half the laser towers to protect than the two satellites, and the risk of losing your deploying ship isn't as much because he's only dropping 5-10 deployables rather than 20-30.
They have their uses, but for the beginner it really is better to just drop regular satellites.
