Report a translation problem
you want to do it with keyboard, not with mouse.
If you fly into that direction, the station directly in front of you...
but the station is unknow, or a gate... what now?
there are mutlipel ways to do it.
If you click on a unknown object on the map and press t, you can find it in the space better (so an arrow shows where it is compared to your orientation)
If you have something targeted and use your mouse to click anywhere on your canopy (the thing you are looking out of in the cockpit), the current target will become unlocked and the right floating view screen will become blank as well. This is of course providing you are not clicking on some asteroid or another ship out in from of you.
Pressing the Toggle Target Lock should do the same thing as clicking in empty space.
If I'm not correct let me know as for the life of me I can't untarget anything without clicking in empty space.
