is there a quick docking key?

I found none.... and docking seems extremely fiddly... even more so than in Star Citizen... to the point where i believe it just has to be automated and I am just not finding the right key

If you get a docking comuputer it becomes automatic once you get close

dock at a requipment dock or a wharf. Get docking computer software. (Either MK1 or MK2, depend on your budget. I have found no difference)

Your ship then will auto dock when you apporch the landing pad.
(However, it won't auto dock if your orientation is wrong or too far away from the pad)

I could still dock, but I just assumed it is that slow that it can't be something they expect the player to do all the time
