Repair costs high?

Trying to repair my Vanguard (hull is at 94%) at a neutral station--says it'll cost $33,000 and also that the station is lacking 13072 Hull Parts??

Is this right?

Well you can do the freebie method and just evac from ship and shoot it with repair laser, for small ships doesnt take long. Dont have a bigger to see how slower that is.

Faction rep factors in to repair cost massively in this. Make sure whoever owns that dock actually likes you and it'll be cheaper.

I figured I would need parts or something to use the repair laser--so much is 'realistic' about this game :) Thanks!
