Can you think of a recent game in this Genre that looks better? Rebel Galaxy? Star Point Gemini?
I mean if you know of a better looking game of this type. Feel free to share with the rest of the class.
Oh and as for the price. There is this thing called a living wage. Not that the workers will actually see the profit of their work, but thats something you will learn in time (from point of the wealthy or the poor, whichever spot you were lucky enough to land on.)
Let's look at Everspace for a moment shall we................
Real question - is it worth the money for you? That's something only you yoruself can answer. It seems to have the same learning cliff phase a lot of niche simulations (with quite some depth compared to the overall shallow width most AAA offers) and a graphic that's more functional than great. The music is quite nice, though the technical implementation don't blends changing background songs (going into music of fights is quite abrupt).
In what it seemingly shines is the overall design of systems, you can build, fight and explore. And so far i'd say builde and explore more (at least in meaningful ways) than i most other Space Sims.
Than again.. i've not seen all too much yet, as it's not out that long.
If you dont like the comparsion, take a look at Everspace.
It looks good enough.
Clearly you were not alive 20 years ago.
Putting that apart it is really not that aestetically for me too. I liked the clearer look of X3 more (I really loved that) This is a bit too muddy.
Graphics look comparable, based only on the 1st video, does not look like it has trading (I could be wrong) or station/ship management so....
So because we don't agree with you....we are the cause of the problem, that we don't believe exists.....okie fine.
