Finally got my Flight stick Configured

Seriously that was more complicated than it should have been.

Logitech Extreme 3d Pro.

Basicly you need to go into settings and set each joystick function manually.

Primary Steering - Left Right
Secondary Steering - Roll (z axis)
Steer Up/Down

Then to make it like every other flight sim I had to go into inverting settings and invert the up/down (Pull back to rotate up, Push forward to point down) and also inverted Roll.

I turned off Auto Assist and disabled game controller also, not sure about those. YMMV

hm....it doesn't matter what i choose in the settings. my extreme 3d pro has a huge deadzone. makes it impossible to fly precised manuvres. do you have that problem?

I don't think so. But I may just be ignorant of what you mean. I did calibrate it before starting (that and wiped the dust off it).

I can't turn on a dime, but I don't know how much of that is control sensitivity and how much is Argon Starter ship design.

Looks like someone ressurected an extremly old thread :D

Setting up Flight Sticks and HOTAS in general can take a while in this game.
But once you figured things out it is actually quite fantastic.

Enjoying X4 much more now with the Warthog HOTAS compared to m&k only.
Note: the default settings the game gives you for the Warthog HOTAS are completly garbage, take your time and set it up for yourself.

I used Joystick Gremlin (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6CFPW4go0M) to set up Logitech Extreme 3D pro joystick, without excessive deadzone even with 0% game settings.

This ....this is why we can't have flying cars. Because of <Blanks> deciding what can and cannot happen. Especially when they have no concern about the subject at hand and just want attention.

If they want to discuss the solution to their problem in this thread what is to YOU? Why are you even here? I am sure there is a debate somewhere "whether it tastes great or is less filling" that needs you to weigh in on.

Yep Totally me over reacting. Cause it sure aint the people complaining. Its me. I am the problem. I am the Square peg that just doesn't fit in the round world. Keep on thinking that. Its better for you not self assess your actions. You just keep living your life as you have been. Oblivious to your actions and the consequences of them.

Don't imagine a world where you just passed this thread by without commenting. Because thats a world where you don't matter. This way you do matter. "Whats with all the necros lately" You have a list right? No of course you don't, you cannot validate your argument. Your kind never can.
