on the map go to information and in the list will be storage, it will list all the item in your ships hold.

thanks but its not there maybe its a bug im in a mining ship and cant see how much space i have or what i have collected

Go to the personal tab and click on the inventory.

The illegal items are collored a dark yellowish colour ( all other are white ).

Got stopped by the police and told to drop the cargo, looked around and noticed it, dropped it and the police started shooting the cargo pod.

Have to say, the police cant shoot for sh** :)

I'm following up on this question. I know it's an old thread but can't find where to look to see what I have in my ships inventory. It shows 144 out of 150 under "Ship storage details" I'm still looking but can't figure out to view what that 144 is. Can somebody offer some insight, please?

This thread is almost 2 years old, please don't necro two year old threads. They usually contain outdated information, and sometimes the answers present in them are now no longer valid depending on what has changed in patches.

If you don't see any freight in the info tab, check loadout it may be drones, or it may be that the NPC in charge has some inventory items to deposit (check the personal tab and click inventory, or right click the ship and see if you can deposit the inventory and if that fixes it. You'll need the PHQ to deposit stuff.

Anyways I will still be locking this thread due to it's age.
