"Hack the Security Control Panel" Mission

I've docked at a station, there's only 2 locations I can go - Managers Office and Engineering. Engineering has loads of terminals, but no security ones.

I've looked everywhere and I cannot find a security control panel. Anyone able to help?

Same here. There is no guidance to the panel. I've tried searching the Engineering but nothing seems interractable there.

Mission brief says you need a security slicer which you can craft at a crafting station, presumably once you have that the shield console will be interactable, wherever it is.

I did have a security slicer in my inventory and yet I couldn't find an interractable console.
I've noticed there was a security office on a warf(or mb a shipyard, I think) where there was also a faction representative. Sadly, i did not have a slicer by then and couldn't check. So far I'm assuming the such a mission was supposed to target a station with security office but smth went wrong.

I'm having this same problem. Wants me to hack a security control panel. I need to have a Security Decryption System, which I do. But there is no security office and I cannot find a security control panel anywhere. I'm assuming it's a bug. I think the mission is only supposed to point us to stations that have a security room.

Am supposed to hack a panel at TEL Drone Component Factory I.
I have a tracker showing me into a room where I am supposed to hack a "storage system control panel", but there is absolutly nothing to pilfer with inside the room :/

When you hack storage module, stuff get dumped into space near storage module. You gotta pick them up in your ship.

You need to find the Security Office which doesn't always seem to spawn on stations but if you do find it they contain the security, turret, shield and repair control panel.

so.. 2021.. got hacks mission without security/engeenering office..

we got any workaround for that?

It still happens. Only "workaround" is to abort the mission and try again.

For me it worked to teleport to another ship even in the same sector and then teleporting back. Magic: every extra room like manager office and security was there.
