Your Choice of Factories, for new players?
Hi guys, I just built my first factory. The game calls it a High Tech Factory as it has Silicon Wafer, Smart Chips and Microchips production Modules. I earned roughly 1.5 Million after it was completed for 20 minutes once the Storage was filled with the Wares needed.

I was thinking of making a 2nd and 3rd Factory. I would apprciciate some advice and discussion of making factories of different production types for new players.

energy cell , engine and hull parts next.
hull parts are always important when building more stations.
engine and hull parts for the ships you need to service the new stations...
energy cells for all the modules....

One cannot really go wrong with a full food chain in the centre of the appropiate faction space. Food might not have the value of electronic goods but is used in large quantities so can be a good earner for a second factory. It also helps stimulate the economy which might help with resource shortages.

While hull parts are important for station and ship building, I've found in my games they are in abundant supply at NPC stations selling at minimum price. Engine parts, on the other hand, always seem to be running short in Paranid ship building stations.

So, for supporting your own station building, hull parts, claytronics, energy cells, field coils, shield components, advanced electronics, turret components, smart chips, and drone components. Add into that the minerals and gaseous needed to build up the components for these.

Build a station of Energy start off with and build on it has you collect stuff. Energy always needed 100 - 400 here and there add up over time and 2 panels can power a station of 1 of everything. Numbers don't reflect the true earning of a station as it alway normally lower.

Fact is that Best way build a station is run the mission to get research then build the station as you can then chance get designs free after by short scanner. In one station can earn up as many 3 station designs parts.

Also assign at least 10 traders per station. 3 minerals 1 Gas You can build the station off what it earns.

Best way always earn is either lower price to min like or leave it on auto.

contains all the modules of my instant Nostrop Fac

i do import water from outside on purpose... it keeps my ice miners busy.

that aside, the turnover may be tiny in relation to other stations but it is steady and reliable.

Always fact check if your universe is even buying claytronics (or any material) though. I've had some cruel prank simulation states where that hot ticket item... wasn't. But when things are running more smoothly it is a lovely product.

Also double check prices against the average if you are looking for sales if you want to BUY stuff like claytronics, as the trade overlay has no regard for price, only volume.

In particular trade stations will often go "We have 3 dot buy/sell! (at average/1 credit off average)" making seeking out 3 dots with good prices more awkward.

just for info... you can sort deals for the maximum price you are willing to pay... even for smaller amounts.

I notice your Work Force Capacity is 500 when the needed Work Force is 540? Does this mean you will still increase capacity but not 100%?

Also noticed you did not put Storage Modules?

i start with basic resource refining, so silicon wafers and refind metals. Then when you have the money expand into smart chips and scanning arrays, sice theyre finished good with much higher value and they require what youre already producing. after that just focus on what keeps the galactic econ flowing smoothly

i put a Teladi L Container Storage, also the needed Workforce vs capacity it 405 to 500.

weird... when i click your link it leads me to my station...


if the station looks other than this link something is off


also i think 5 food productions may be way too much... i haven't seen that much demand to solidify the amount, except you intend to distribute the food across your own stations.
