Hide Cockpit Hotkey/binding

Can't for the life of me find this on Steam/X4 help or even good old google, it must be somewhere!

There is not way to hide the cockpit. You can hide the UI (shift + H) but that is it.

Hey genorzt, not sure if you realized it, but you replied to a 2 years old post. Regardless, in the interest of providing complete information:

Ctrl+H : Toggle Cockpit
Shift+H: Toggle HUD

These controls can be changed in-game under Settings: Controls: General: Expert Settings.
