what precisely do you need to know?
beside the ability to actually build the Station it self you will need blueprints for ships and equipment.
the more the better.
Wharfs are not that different from normal Production Stations.. only the end Product is kind of special...
what i need to know is what the minimum i need to build a warf (parts for building a station)
and i just found out that arg build another warf in Black hol sun V
there goes my 100m of buying bps for building station ... ^^
maybe i should build one in argon prime and run them out of business ^^
well from the 100m+ i had only have 5m left after buying all the bps, now i still need to buy the bps for building the station it self ... i think thats the build and repair paart thats it ^^
as for the minimum requirement:
1x S/M Ship Production Module
1x Pier for L/XL Ships
1x Container Storage (the more Storage, the better)
Construction Drones, Cargo Drones
1x Manager
1x Ship Dealer
Just take a look at any of the Wharfes to get some inspiration what you might need.
without a Pier only S & M Ships would be able to Trade and Dock.
To ensure stocks I added EVERY module needed for making the Ships; Weapons and Shields; Engines and thrusters and all deployables.
Once stocks were high enough my Manager was trading excess stocks and I looked at which S/M ships were most popular amongst the NPCs near me. I bough tonly those Blueprints at first.
First sales were for repairs and restocks usually worth 300 to 700. Then the ship orders started coming in mainly for small fighters. Usually around 1M and usually orders of 4 or 5 ships. Total profit as I was not buying anything to make them :D
After a large skirmish I then got 6 TEL Cerberus orders worth an average 2M each.
Before long I had my L fab built too and I bought teh PAR Odyseus blueprints [don;'t fotget their guns etc ] No actual order yet but I found that 1 Ody on high spec setting and full crew will sell for between 7 and 8.5 M The price varies across the factions and I always get a sale :D
So now I turn each sale into more blueprints. When stocks get high again I just make a new Ody or some Gorgons and sell them.
An added bonus is that I take the supplied Captain [usually 3*] off those ships before selling them. I put a low or zero star crewman in instead. Sp my crew training is improving.
I see that the max Destroyer order my complex can take without buying in stock is around 6 so I will add more storage to improve that to 10.
