but going onto an "exploration" adventure in the infinite void sounds better.
what ever ship is produced in X4 will be used by the AI... with the exception of the already mentioned "Explorers" that got handed to them by the Player.
The X4 Factions don't burn resources to send them into the Void... those Ships get the command they will follow until they die directly when they are ordered...
Now sell it to SCA (pirate faction). You need to see their pirate large station on map for this to work.
Then you simply board it. Now move all your crew out (be sure ship has a landing pod for medium ships).
Sell it again -- repeat the process.
When ships are sold they go to the great farm in the sky. Where all ships have enough room to play and live out the rest of their days happy chasing comets and UNKNOWN OBJECTS.
Also, my shipyard builds ships for other factions and I assume they use it somehow. Or they also just disappear??
You would not have to fly them out of sector, just delete them and then increment the station store counts. Less CPU load and that way Ozzo's strategy would have an effect... 8-)
