Q - Resource Pobes & Mining Ship's
Am i Stupid (or my Captain's) or do all Mining Ship's ignore the Probes you Place in the Universe? My Mining Ships Fly to other Sectors to Mine stuff they got in front of my Station... :steamfacepalm:

They don't indeed care a damn thing about your probes, they work just as well without any prospecting. Probes work for your own curiosity and filling missions. Just get more miners if you need more ore.

Yeah, I wish probes had a more useful role. As in, before your miners go to a spot to mine, they need to have resources revealed to them through probes. Maybe Egosoft thought it would be too frustrating for players if miners had that restriction? I think it would be cool if they were a necessary tool, though, rather than just a cheap thing for missions.

I think it would be cool. But they might already have it, but had to turn it off to avoid everyone's PC loading down too slow. I think that has happened in previous games...

The nav satellites are good for getting the station trade updates automatically. And for seeing what is there. The mining probes do help in seeing where to get stuff yourself.

It's just that every bit of automatic stuff slows the computer a bit more, and running the entire universe at once loads a lot already.

Don't know about that... Task Manager say it use 10-13% of my i7-3770K... and near 7'000'000K RAM but that is Easy. I got 32GB... My GPU sound unhappy... But MSI tells it dosent run on 100%. Anyway the fans run nonstop on 100% LOL. THX for the Info.

For this reason I am hoping that they can add more of this soon. But a lot of people still have a lot less computer than that...

wich GPU? Type, Manufacturer, Dedicated VRam?

@Topic

Resource Probes are for personal Usage.. aka Manual Mining... Automated Mininers Use their own algorythm to find the best Spot for Mining... shall we add Resource Probes to the crutial Equipment of Miners to be able to do automated Mining?
