What Factions and Races would you like to see in X4?

As long as there is a variety I don't really care. I would like to see more emphasis on alien environments ... perhasp ships and stations with liquid or toxoc gas needing our character to don an envionment suit. Likewise aliens having to don suits ot travel through our gas mixes.

As X4 will bring annihilation into play, I would also like to see new races / factions generated as teh game develops.

I'd like to see a pirate faction with it's own story missions, major NPCs, etc. I always felt that the option to become allies with other pirates.

I'd like to see Boron ships, the character models are less desirable but Boron ships have a unique style that adds variety to X Universe. Happy for it to come post relase though its not something to get hung up on.

well they said borons wont be in the game at the start as they require to swim in stations/ships. For them to do add borons would have to require them to be in space suits 24/7 and you wouldnt know they are boron unless they said something. I would perfer they never bring the boron race back or just not make them playable.

I really liked the Boron ship design and the music in the boron sectors. If "walking" is the reason to skip borons I would choose to skip walking...

I would like to see them bring back the terran races from X3. The ATF and USC

In the interview i believe i heard them say there currently is 10 factions (perhaps some factions have several races). Not sure if there is sub factions of the factions.

From I seen so far we have the same races as x rebirth for sure in x4. Not sure if the hive mind race is in though.

It isn't just the walking, the Boron ship/station interiors would be designed very differently. I'm not sure if they would even bother with gravity in them. Maybe they could be in the game but living apart from everyone else? Ships would either be made for Borons or everyone else. Stations could have Boron sections with their own docks and such.

Or the Borons could always turn evil and attack everyone. I'm not sure I could bring myself to shoot down their pretty ships, though.

Damn, the Paranid are looking good. Their arms aren't quite as long as I imagined after reading their entry in The X Encyclopedia. And they might have ditched the Paranid having 8 fingers, at least going off the concept art.

Hopefully they will open up the universe. In rebirth they limited you to a few sectors that I believe we're argon controlled and may the teladi one. In x3 you couild visit 200+ sectors controlled by all the races. Yes i get sectors are a little bigger in rebirth. The i universe was much smaller though.
