What is this faction , so agnoying , taking all my potential colony , asking me to give them stuff .

So who are they , where are they come from , what will i get from giving them stuff , is it effective to play with them .

a) you can't choose to play this faction
b) I don't tend to spoiler, so play the game to find out where they come from and who they are

Hello friend, you just met the main organization of the game, but not playable. They are those who can male your job harder and easier at the same time. 😌
You are allowed to see them as masonry of Heroes or a group of acolytes... irony apart, there are many quests that lore around the Academy. You can discover more about its history playing, make sure you do not disable their quest when setting up the game, in Advanced.

Depending on how much you give them you can get certain temporary bonuses, like access to a very powerful fleet.

I did the one where put a hero around a planet for some rounds , other than that im simply too busy dealing with pirate to even look at their quest .

The Academy is what bade that one DLC one of the worse DLCs in gaming history. Also its an example how NOT to outsource your game development.
