How can i remove Unfallen vines from my star system?
Anyone knows how to?
If you are in peace in with them they just take over all your system with the peaceful takeover.

I would assume that you can't, but I haven't played against them. They are sort of like Harmony or Cravers to some extent. They "ruin" systems permanently if you don't stop them, but they don't need to colonize to ruin them. Once they vine a system it's theirs, forever, I would think.

I would actually say that the unfallen are the litterall exact opposite of Cravers. While Cravers perm deplete a system, the unfallen actually enhance any system that it connects to, by increasing food production and moral. I also hear, but cant confirm, that the vines allow for faster ship travel. Also, the unfallen may be able to actually detect guardians on allied systems, im not sure, if so, they can give those systems huge def bonus.

Now that being said, I hear that its possible for the unfallen to actually anex already owned systems they are connected to while at peace, i hope this is false, or that its a bug. The tooltip says you cant colonize already colonized systems, so hopefully its the later and will be fixed soon.

I'm currently at peace with the Unfallen in my Sophon game. I can confirm, having just gotten a vine around one of my (fully colonized) systems, that I'm getting a buff to food production in the system from "friendly vines". If there's a buff to system defense as well, I don't know where to look to see it. I'll update this if they end up taking over that system, but I'd be surprised if they did.

in my last game as imperium i was at peace with the unfallen. after a while they send their ships in my territory. and again after a while there were the vines. first around one, later on a second planet.

as soon the vines were there, i got tells from them that i should get my ships out of their influence area (my systems!).

further there were a countdown for a peaceful takeover. starting with 3% each turn and later lowering to 2%.

thats a bug or?

wonders me also that they send ships in my areas while we were at peace. everytime i do the same, this nasty weed gimme a whining call, that i should remove my ships.

No that is intentional. That is how the Unfallen work, they take over EVERYTHING their vines touch. If a system is entwined by their vines it belongs to them and the system gets converted if it belongs to someone else.
The only way to avoid that is a alliance with them, then only the benefitial effects of the vines apply.
At peace they will take over your systems onew by one over time.
"We will peace the crap out of you!" is the offical Unfallen motto. :P

This, so the Unfallen actually force you to go to war with them to prevent there anexing your territory. Basically the Unfallen are very powerful against players trying for econmic or diplomatic play styles, and kept in check by agressive races.

Well there is this achievement:
The Root of the Problem
In a single game, invade 5 enemy systems benefiting from being entwined with Unfallen Vines and un-entwine them
So there must be some way ostensibly.
Ghostwind May 25, 2017 @ 8:53am
thats really annoying.

seems as soon you meet the unfallen, get your most nasty weed killer and give them their peace✌️

I looked a bit into it and this is my conclusion:

The unfallen you are fighting probaly have the 4th trier empire development tech SLC (super-light) wich takes over galaxies in your influence area and for the unfallen their influence is determined by these vines

as a disadvantage to compensate for this they can only expand really slowly as they need these "vine ships" to create a vine between galaxies. It takes a ship 10 turns to create one and can only happen within a certain range of another galaxy.

The range looks like a blue ring around the galaxy whilst playing as them myself but i don't know if others can see them

can you unwine a system... destroy them? forbid them from expanding into your area? can they take over your planet?

sort of, i think they are removed when you destroy the nearest system they own.

close borders with them, i'd like to note that this prevents vineship movement thereby stopping the vines from spreading

yes, if thay have the 4th tier empire developement technology SLC

I un-wined finally 1 system. Playing for Empire, I announced a war against Unfallen. Occupied 1 of their planet and hold for some turns defense by the fleet.

The vines definitely increase travel speed for the Unfallen themselves. They function a lot like wormholes.

I THINK they increase travel speed for allies too, although I'm not sure.

Correct in every point. In addition enemy factions travel speed is lowered on vined routes.
