FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

I need Help keeping track of all these quests!!!!!
Hello everbody

i recently hit lvl 30 as druid and got the unicorn mount wich is nice and all, but i cant use it.
after searching the web i found out that i have to do one of the story quest at lvl 20 to ride a mount.
and heres the problem:

i cant find the quest, neither can i find a proper list of all quest anywhere and i dont have any story quests activated + i checked every point i can reach by now without getting one hitted by the enemys around, and i didnt find any story quest

im already searching for 2 days (=16 hours playtime) and now my last resort is this community

a big thanks to all that feel like helping an totall beginner (i only have this game for a week or so ^^)

Mount quest you receive from one of the npc's at your grand company. You need 2000 company seals in order to buy the item to finish the quest and then you can ride your mounts.

Then you havent done your main story quest far enough, you will probably have to try and remember the last area you had done one.. maybe you missed it and went onto doing other things. Check your completed quests maybe.

Here is a link to main scenario/quests - http://au.ign.com/wikis/ff14/Main_Scenario

And a chocobo one - http://www.ffxivguild.com/ffxiv-arr-guide-for-how-to-get-a-chocobo-in-a-realm-reborn/

The Main Q for the Grand Company's comes right after the Ifrit Fight, to give a point where it is in the main questline.

One tip about story quests: they have a special icon (they look like a fireball instead of the standard quest icon oval shape). Whenever you finish a story quest, either the person you turned the last story quest into or someone standing really close to them will typically have the next story quest to give you. You can tell by looking for the story quest icon above their heads. Even if you don't plan on continuing the story questline at that time, grab the quest so it's in your journal and quest list to refer back to later.

In general, the next quest in the story is started at the same NPC in which the previous quest is finished. Once you finish a quest, wait a minute for the icon above the NPC to change to the blue icon with the FF symbol.
