I can't log in using my Square Enix account

This is extremely frustrating.
I've been sitting here, trying to log in for 3 hours and creating 2 accounts in the proccess.
It keeps saying:
"Invalid ID or Password"
Like come on Square Enix, that's total BS.

Does anyone know why this happens? Does it happen to anyone else?

Do you have as SE ID already or are you are trying to create one? It sounds like you need to recover your password from SE if you do.

Log in to Mogstation directly using a combination of E-mail and Password. Note your SEID in the top right hand corner. Sometimes it can be truncated, or have a number added.

I have a SE ID, and i just tried to recover my password. Still no success with logging in.
For some reason i can log onto their website just fine, but not the game client.

I can't log in to the mogstation either, but the normal website works just fine.

That is very strange. Their accounts are completely messed up. You are required to have some accounts ot have other accounts, but then some accounts you can have separately. Try recovering your login from: http://www.square-enix.com/na/account/

You should verify that you can log into Mogstation, as that is the only place you can manage your subscription. E-mail and Password should work, then your ID should show.

Yes, they change the ID on some people for no reason.

Yeah the square enix account maker for this game is wierd. When I made mine it changed what I had made to something diffrent. No notice of this was given of the change until I did password recovery, due to the same issue you were having.

Ok....So I just decided to try out the game again after a few years I made a new account and bought the complete edition for 60$. I go to the website to login and it says invalid ID or Password. I think to myself well that cant be right I just made the account I know what my info is so dont even get started on the make sure you have your info right, I DO. I cannot login to the mog station the main website or the launcher even though I just created the account. it has now been 4 hours and am extremely frustrated and have to go back to work. I cant reset my password because it has a 24 hour cooldown time on that email. I have tried using my SE ID and my email to login. I have tried just about everything in the book. Low and behold nothing works. I just wanted to play the game with my friends, I have tried multiple emails multiple ID's multiple passwords all in different combinations. I am ripping my hair out just trying to figure this out. Please. Send. Help. Have a Good One :)

Your squarenix store account is not the same as your squareenix FF14/FF11 account.

Create your account via the mogstation and make sure to verify your email/account first with the email the send you for verification.

Check your spam and junk folders as it tends to go there.

i couldnt Login mog Station with Opera, with Explorer it works .. dont know why

basically they make you create two different accounts during sign-up, and a lot of people get confused and don't realize that they are different and thus different passwords. No other MMORPG has such a system. In other MMORPGs you log in, buy the sub, and that's it.

Square Enix will never fix this, even though it causes 50% of players to quit before they even begin.
