Dark knight (the class I was playing most, and I dueled a few other players who were dark knights) seemed rather underwhelming.
Did not duel a dragoon though.
NIN==SAM>WHM>SMN>everything else is fairly balanced.
If you play the strongest class you will get focused.
If you play the weakest class, you will get destroyed.
Just play whatever you enjoy, cause they all suck equally. Especially warrior, overtuned crap.
Some will say NIN but as a NIN player I can say they are so wrong lol.
They say it cause the LB has a chance to insta kill when an opponent is under 50% HP, but what they don't mention is the animation takes a bit of time and the opponent has full ability to heal, be healed or guard up essentially wasting your LB unless you or your team kills that person in the next 5 seconds which will give the LB back but only for 10 seconds to which you have to hope someone else gets low enough to use it on them.

I really don't get how people are complaining about WHM. They have 2 charge limited ST heal that barely does 30%, a basically useless barrier/dam reduction and an AoE heal that requires you to be in melee range. Hell, even the SMN barrier feels more impactful that the WHM one. The only thing that is powerful is their LB and only if you target it to exactly the right enemy. If I had to complain about something other than SAM/NIN in PvP WHM wouldn't even be in the top 5, I find DNC more annoying to deal with than WHM with their stupid charm and bind.
Chainsaw has a 3% chance to instakill, you got super unlucky. On the whole MCH damage is pretty pitful outside of buffed Drill/Chainsaw/AA. And their heavy hitters are not controllable so if they can't safely close and are on Bioblaster they are basically SoL since you have to get in close to use it. MCH really need some QoL improvements in PvP. The only thing they have going for them is the killshot LB on targets at sub-60% HP. They have no CC, not escape, no gapcloser, and their damage doesn't rate being so limited.
