Registration code? I can't even log in.

So i just purchased the game and downloaded it and when i launch i can't log in because i need som kind of one-time password but i can't get a one time password because the cd code i have does not match the registration code i need to enter on square enix site, and i'm not allowed to get a one-time password without registering the game first.

How do i register, install and log into the game? I can't even believe i need to research how to log into a game -.-'

If you don't know what a one-time password is, leave it blank (don't type "BLANK"... no really.)

If i leave it blank it still won't let me log in. I've tried with my first account and a second one...

Registration is handled by Mogstation.
https://secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/Login?cont=account&request=mogstation

Log in using your SE ID you made. (E-mail and password you signed up with.) There you can register your key. Once in the Mogstation, check for your "Square Enix ID" name at the top right. In somecases, SE may change the name and add a number at the end if you picked one that others have.

I made a new account from the launcher and it worked, but thanks anyway :)

i can't login either keeps saying invalid, i keep resetting hte password but still no vice. I know right now its maintence but when it wasn't i couldnt even log in...

Do you have a account already that you have been able to log in to before? If so you should contact support and if not try creating a new account with a different email adress, that's what did in order to be able to play the game.
