I can't play free to lvl 60?
I've bought Shadowbringers a while ago but never really played properly. Now the game is basically free to play up to lvl 60, but if I understand correctly I have to either make a new account and lose access to the DLC or buy a subscription for my current account to play??? If that's true that's a load of BS...

Once you register the base game, there are no more restrictions in your account and you must pay the sub to keep playing. Not hard to understand. Yours is a full account so get over It or play anything else. Simple

Imagine buying the DLC and still not being allowed to play for "free" up to lvl 60

How is that BS? We've known for years that buying the game locks you out of the free trial. The only thing that's changed is how far the trial can go. It's still a subscription game.

It is not free to play to level 60.

The free trial has been upgraded to level 60.

Some pretty heavy restrictions apply.

Since you own the game, you no longer meet the requirements to play the free trial.

No because you now own the game.

It is a free TRIAL or DEMO. Not free to play

Back when it was 2 weeks to get to lv35 it definitely was 'try the game'
But now that you can go through the entire basegame and an expansion for free on a new account it's essentially a f2p game that gives restrictions to paying users.

If it's your first time, play everything you can up to 60 before subbing.
If you make a 2nd account to play to 60 for free, then just never upgrade that account so you can at least play the game as long as you like without getting kicked out and sub your main account if you like it.

It is NOT "essentially" a F2P.....

F2P means you can play free forever with no restrictions and no sub.....

There are HEAVY restrictions, and it is not forever, once you reach the end of the trial (level 60 classes) the trial is over for you, and you cannot continue to play.

This is NOT F2P.....

BDO (Black Desert Online) F2P
Tera is F2P

FREE TRIAL is not the same as F2P...

Seriously I do not know how many times EVERYONE has to explain this to you....

Just because you think that is what it means, does not make it so

There is no backwards logic.

If you are not a free trial player, you do not get the free trial.

If you purchased the game, you are clearly no longer a free trial player.

Yup, checked your profile, you bought the game AND the expansions duder. You are not a free trial player anymore.

Man here I thought they might've actually done something right and opened up their game but nope. Then again what do I expect from the same publisher behind Marvel's Avengers.
