There are a bunch of 24-man raids like the Crystal Tower ones, but only the three Crystal Tower ones are required for the main story.
If you can't stand multiplayer instances at all, then you might want to stop. The main story is only able to be played completely solo up until you finish the ARR main story, ending with destroying the Ultima Weapon, which you have done.
If you are on an EU DC, I would be willing to help you with the raids as a healer.
When you queue for content, all of you are, in the end, just working towards the same goal of beating the dungeon and usually you don't really need to speak up if nothing is happening anyway. It does pay off to be open to suggestoins from others if they have them though.
This is coming from someone that got over social anxienty in df by accidentally queuing for Sastasha,
As someone who made friends only 3000 hours in (at endgame), I wholehearteadly disagree. You can go through the entirety of the MSQ, and do most other content without having to depend on virtually anyone, with the only real exceptions being the trials and raids. FFXIV is incredibly solo friendly, is just not a single player game.
Also, boring is a subjective qualification. What’s boring for you, isn’t for others and shouldn’t even be considered when evaluating whether the game is solo friendly or not, because everyone’s experience will be different. What matters is whether the game accommodates and facilitates going through it without actively having to wait or depend on others, and It most certainly does.
Just let people know you're new at the start, and it'll be fine most of the time. Of course, there's always going to be toxic people wherever you go. People like to parrot that XIV has a non-toxic and friendly community. I disagree, it's only less toxic compared to other MMOs but still has a lot of unchecked toxicity.
Or just ask what to do.
At which point someone else replied "Dont worry, we dont either."
Never change, Crystal Tower raid, never change.
