How uninstall
Hey all, please how uninstall this game...? I try it normal same how other games but game is still in my PC (some around 50GB). Game looks how unistalled but dont. Dissapear only icon from my desktop and thats all. Please help me.

Yeah probably yes but i dont understand why not works normal uninstall when the possibility is here.

Hmmm and now i found in "documents" next FFXIV folder with some 1gb waste. It is really to hard programme normal unistall...?! omg devs are noobs in programming or only idiots...?

Right click then uninstall.

bro... i was do it but the uninstall not works. I was must normaly delete folders. But probly files in registers are still somewhere there because the game doesnt work uninstall how other games.

Because Steam only has the base game (2.0) in its system. What you download is the base game and the launcher, but the launcher will the download the rest of the game. Steam doesn't recognize any of the extra files that the launcher downloads, so when you uninstall through Steam, it only removes the files that it downloaded itself.

type "add remove" in windows search find ffxiv remove or something like revo uninstaller will do it for you or like others say delete the folder if you want.

actually steam only downloads and installs the launcher, the game itself will be downloaded and installed through the launcher.

for anyone who is still looking for a solution, get ccleaner portable and delete it with it. worked well for me

Don't install Ccleaner, it's garbage adware. Just go to where your steam games are installed and delete the folder there.

Uninstalling it via steam uninstalls the launcher, but not the game the launcher downloaded. That's all there is to it.
