Why did they get rid of the tiny gun? Is there another tiny gun?

Just started machinist and my gun on my Falafel is clipping through my cowboy hat and is super annoying. My hat is huge but that is how a cowboy should look. When I looked in the database online the only one I saw says they got rid of it. Thanks for any help.

The tiny gun, Makai Hand Mortar, was unique from other Machinist weapons because it was part of a limited time collab with Garo. There aren't really options for smaller guns otherwise, especially to avoid clipping issues with Lalafell (just about everything clips with each other or floats off the body to some degree anyway) though maybe the Ferdinand and Deathlocke stages of the Heavensward Relic Weapon would work?

Fae Pistol is the only one i remember that isn't too big, so It may worth to check it. About the Garo collab, yeah, everything related to that event became unobtainable after patch 5.1, like two years after the event started (Except or course for the people who got their achievements, since they can buy the respective 5 piece gear sets and weapons from the Calamity Salvager)

The Ikkansai Kai is also on the small side you can pick one up for 600 tombs form the Ryumyaku gear exchange in Rhalgr's Reach. in post stormblood patches.

Hive/Dead Hive are fairy small. I prefer the Hive version since the butterflies on Dead Hive are a bit much. They also change color when you unholster them, which is cool IMO. Before I got the Aug Law's Order Pistol (easily best looking MCH relic IMO), the Hive Musket was my go to MCH weapon glam.

As a side note, the final stage ShB MCH relic is as terrible/ugly as the Law's Order stage is amazing. Seriously look it up, it looks like someone pulled a 1920's sawed-off shotgun out of their grandfathers basement then put a bunch of stickers on it and called it a day.

Honestly 99% of the guns are outright ugly the only real decent looking guns are awakening weapons and ferdinand but thats just me i guess.

A Falafel should use as big a gun as possible due to 1 single word: Compensation. Big guns have traditionally been a way for little men to compensate.

Interesting. I always wanted that "Makai Hand Mortar" but it was a Garo collaboration that is gone.

Because of the Final Fantasy 16 collaboration I went to Gold Saucer, to the Gold Saucer Price Attendant. She is at X5.4 Y6.6 and there is no marker on the map. She has three Prize Exchange options, and with option one I could buy a "Tarnished Makai Hand Mortar"... for gold saucer points. She seemingly has all the other Makai gear as well.
