What overhyped garbage..

I loved and enjoyed all the final fantasy games, but this is my second time giving this game a shot. It starts you off running aroudn doing fetch quests. Like, seriously? All the text is so damn boring. I could die. I even started skipping it all. I just can't continue. My first time playing I got to the next area and quit. I was also very bored then.

They should have started you off with some combat. Not a bunch of filler quests the obviously threw in to waste your time. Is this how they attract new players? They probably attract one type of person that has the patience to get through all this garbage..

This is the worst MMORPG I have ever played. As a fan of the FF universe, i am banishing this game from my thoughts.. If this is the standard we hold for a FF MMORPG, then there is a seriously issue with a lot of you..

The beginning area is ugly.. You can tell it has no love. The quests are the worst I have ever experienced in any mmorpg. It doesn't deserve to be associated with the great storytelling of the other games.. I don't know what makes you guys stay.. Loyalty? They don't deserve it. Not for this. I expected FFIX online to be a magical place to explore. It is nothing like that..

Its like i alway like to say,.. if you are looking for a good RPG Game, than dont try to browse the MMOs.
The Focus in a MMO isnt the Story, its the Multiplayer content. Like PvP, Raids, Dungeons, etc.

The first few Quests are just a net. It sorts all Poeple out of the pool that doesnt fit to this kind of game.
MMO also means Grinding, and its better to let you know this in the low Level instead of "Surprise" at the End Level.

What do you think all the High End geared People do?
Playing only the new Contents? They are farming the same Raids every week for 1 Item (because of the weekly Limit)


FFXIV is bad for a RPG, but it is good for a MMO, because you dont need a Guild in this game. You can play every content you want, if you have the gear and the time.
It has nice Soundtracks and Bossbattles.
And that is the real strenght of this Game.

But as i said, if you are looking for a good RPG, than i would recommend you to look at the Singleplayer Games. Why? Because the Focus of singleplayer RPGs is the Story ;)

I'd say games like Runescape and UO where good MMORPGs. Why can't you get a good story from an MMORPG? ESO did well with its story. It is a lot better than this game. To each their own I guess. I don't mind a grind, but it needs to feel rewarding.
