Any other recent games that have gripped you like Undertale?

This is more of a suggestion request thread than anything else.

Not to take away from this game . . . it's just that, now that I'm done with it, I've got an Undertale sized hole in my heart that needs filling. Why can't there be more indie games like this with solid gameplay, an endearing cast of characters, and a thought-provoking story? (The unconventional meta-gaming aspect of it was great too, but I understand that the average game can't replicate something like that).

Are there any other quirky indie games out there on Steam that an Undertale fan would enjoy? I mean, besides the older, more well-known indie cult classics (e.g. Cave Story, Braid, etc).

Lisa is similar. It's endings are not nearly as happy as the pacifist ending of undertake, but also never as bleak as the genocide ending. It's also funny as ♥♥♥♥.

There's, like, Cave Story, which has a similar tone, and then there's Iji, which is a side scrolling shooter that's also about the whole pacifism vs typical murder poluza game play dictonomy.

I'm surprised there hasn't been mention of OFF, though. I did my first playthough in a single sitting, like a good book you just can't put down.

Oh, there's another one I thought of, and it's free: Close Your Eyes. However, it became very boring, and I didn't finish it. The consensus on Steam is very positive, though. Worth a look. http://store.steampowered.com/app/377330/

Uhhh UHHHH...

It's offtopic (due to it being on different consoles an not PC) but the only other games that really have GRIPPED me albeit it not as much to make me writh on the ground feeling like garbage for a few days but overall the entire Tales of "Series" grips me no matter what Namco puts out for us (even porting it to steam) huzzah!

Besides that I would have to say TellTales The Walking Dead, the rest are just eh...
TT:TWD was their one hit wonder everything else is the same no real changes.

I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. I've played through a lot of the recommendations, but I still appreciate people taking the time to name their favorites.

As for the games I haven't played, I've had Lisa sitting in my library for quite some time . . . so it's good to hear that it's a quality game worth playing. Ditto for Gods will be Watching. I've never even heard of OFF, so I'm definitely going to have to look into it.
