HELP ME! cant play anymore, erased "world"

i made a genocide run and decided to erase the world. the black screen of death persists for ever and i cant play ever again! please help me how do i reset undertale to beginning? i already tried delete the UNDERTALE folder in the AppCache folder. it didnt work!

i found a tuToriel on yt how to solve this problem. finaly i have a true true reset! ^^

after running that genocide..I had to do the soft reset. I hear it isn't the same at the end if I restart now so I might wanna see what it is like. Still gonna run it like pacifist after feeling bad about all deaths (except Jerry...he is gross and says your wifi sucks) . I know a few people will wonder why I ever ran genocide run in the first place...well I was curious...and it got the better of me. I feel guilty now I did the run. Eh just a game right? *looks around* RIIGHT?!

Yeahh, so I did a genocide run and I said no to Chara. Now what? Undertale is just a black screen. how do i get out of it? will i ever play undertale again? PLEASE HELP ME.

Okay so you need to do one of two things. One you could wait for 5 to 10 minutes on the screen and I believe a prompt will pop up that you could answer it again and this time I believe it is looking for yes. If you don't want to wait that long and want to just get back to playing the main game again, you could reset the game file. I know I was frustrated at one point when doing numerous neutral runs it wouldn't let me run a true pacifist and had to reset it. Hope it helps you. :)
