Has anyone ever made a fan game?

Hey I was curious if anyone ever made a fan Undertale game. I know the game hasn't been out for that long. But maybe there's something in the works? Or something like that?

Just curious. And, if you have anything you'd like to see in an Undertale game (whether a fan one or like a sequel) let me know. ^^

I think I heard of a project named Overtale, not sure if its still in developement, but if it is still in development, it will have a pacifist and genocide run.

They are releasing a closed alpha next month, so yeah, it's still in development.

A proper MTT NEO fight is a perfect example of something they could add. I would also do something with the royal guards.

I honestly kinda doubt he is. It would really be awesome, but I'm just kinda dreaming with no expectation of it ever happening. He doesn't really seem to have any interest in working on the game to add something like that.

If he just took the base game and changed some of it it wouldn't be like making another game, but it definitely would be very time consuming having to come up with changes, balancing, etc.

While I'm not saying it would be like making another game, it almost is, since he has to make new monsters, new attacks, possibly new areas/changes to existing areas, new dialogue and ♥♥♥♥ it would take a while.

It would take a long time, and as much as I hate to say this, judging by how many people have trouble with the genocide route and quit it making a hard mode might not even be a good way to spend his time. I don't know if the average player would even want such a thing.

Hey! I made an Undertale fan game just recently! It contains bullet-hell gameplay and Undertale style art so it should be fun for you guys! Also I’m a huge Undertale fan so I’ve created some other Undertale fanart/fangames that might be of interest on my DeviantArt account!

Just beat it. No, not really. Bullet Hell dodging is similar, antagonist is similar, some references here and there, that's about it.

Skimmed the first two pages. So much crap (aside from first few on the front page which show some potential). ._.

I actually went through and tried all of the finished games on there which seems to be about 20% of any of the games on there. Pretty much all of them are ♥♥♥♥.

Uppertale any decent?

There are some fan-made fights ( Undertale Red being my favorite), but there are no any "big" fangames yet. There are some in development though.

I think I'll actually just go and try all of them. If they're good games I'll get some enjoyment out of it, and if they're awful I'll still probably get a good laugh out of it.

I'm expecting to run into lots of MS Paint and stolen music though.
