I'm pretty sure its a pom, same as the greater and lesser dogs. I've got one. They're bred to be watchdogs so they bark and pretty much everything in their territory, but if you train them properly they don't bark constantly. Also, brush the hell out of them or you'll be drowning in fur and they'll be full of uncomfortable napps. On a positive note, they can be really affectionate. Pom often, but pom responsibly. =D

Most likely its meant to be a Pomeranian. Toriel makes some jokes related to Pomeranians in the tapes, and I thought I saw Toby mention them at some point.
