FF8 Omega Trainer for steam + inlaws
if you look for a trainer try the best ever made :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLXnzTzMt88

for all languages, more infos at video discription

UPDATE: 23 march 2017
i just checked the trainer versions german and english.
all options still work for 1.0.11 under windows 10 enterprise x64

possible problems on YOUR side:

1. broken download.
maybe you download was broken so you should re-download the bundle.

2. you got the bundle from a wrong source.
the only real source is linked in the description of the youtube video.
never download my trainers from other websites and never load loose files.
this trainer comes packed in a bundle with 5 trainer files (1 for every language) and 2 description files (1 german and 1 english) + 1 browserlink file to my youtube channel.

3. your crappy anti-virus software locked the trainer.
maybe you got some crappy over-agressive (heuristic) AV software.
some prevents to download the bundle. some prevents to extract the bundle. some prevents to execute the trainer.

why the AV react on the trainer? the trainer writes on memory (ram) to change values in the game like gil or cards. the trainer read keystrokes to notice when you press a hotkey to activate an option (reading keystrokes is what keyloggers also do). and the trainer itself is packet to be smaller (almost every trojan, virus is packed down itself). but even with packing the trainer is still around 4,3mb big (what would be pretty massiv for a trojan/virus) because of the cheat engine base i've used to make this trainer.

so you have to disable your AV or whitelist the trainer.
if you are to stupid the disable your AV or whitelist the trainer,
its your problem!

4. for some strange reasons you got the memory exception error.
if you have this error you just need to run the trainer in compatiblity mode for windows 7.

5. use the correct buttons (hotkeys)
read the damn description file!
use the shift/ctrl + F1-F7 and the numbers shift/ctrl + 1-0 below the Functions keys
and not the numpad numbers!
and take care of the F1-F5 gamebooster options who will trigger also if you using
trainer options like: shift+f1 ( 0 XP after battle ) will also trigger game inbuild booster option F1 (High Speed Mode). so after you used shift+f1 you maybe need to disable the booster option by press F1 again (without the shift).

some extra notice at the end.
if you browse through websites without adblock and noscript its your own fault if you got malware,hijacks,scam... my trainers are clean and safe. my youtube account is from 2006 and it would make absolutely no sense to risk to lose my account for spreading viruses.

so in short. if the trainer not work,YOU are doing wrong. if you got virus,YOU are stupid and got infected way before.

so as we know now the trainer still works 100%, i will not rewrite and release a new version.

you can do all that with a save editor unless you just want to be invincible and completley break the game.

What do you think a trainer is....

Trainers and Save editors are different actually..
Trainers edit values/memory while the game is actually running
Save Editors are just that, they modify the values within a save file and not within the game itself.

A Trainer for example can give you Infinite Gold/HP/MP and such, While Save Editors can only change an aspect of the Minimum/Maximum amount but not keeping those values locked/constant.

trainer is still up-to-date and working
p.s. trainers can do all what savegame editors do and much more, CJ explained

Why not just cheese the game using the functions that the F-Keys provide without using a Trainer?
ZoDDeL Jul 5, 2015 @ 10:23am
1: because my trainer can do more than the "f keys". 2: the "f keys" dont work for all.

Right-click it, select Properties, click the Compatibility tab, and set the compatibility to Windows 7 (first drop-down menu).

Loads fine, but then none of the key combinations work right. Like if I press Shift+2 for all items, it doesn't give me anything, but turns on "Assist" which apparently is like having Aura on all your characters.

Thanks. I'll try it and see what I can do with it.

there is a "bug" caused by square_enix. the trainer worked very well but they add in a later patch with an inbuilt trainerlike cheat option who use thew F1-F5 keys. now the F# hotkeys of my Omega trainer will be blocked. in the future i will upload a new version with other hotkeys but this will take a while for sure cause i have to recode the whole trainer with a better/faster code like i've done with FF7 omni trainer.

win10 users have the problem "memory exception" and need to "run the trainer in compatibility mode for windows 7". this will be fixed with the next release and should fully work native with win10.

Thank you so much for the info! Can't wait for the updates. I think I'll be patient until then. :)
