We are fixing the icon and few other minor tweaks before we officially start supporting the Linux version. Should be ready soon :)
And by soon we mean today! Oxenfree is now officially on Linux. Thank you all for being so patient, and we would love to hear feedback on what you all think of the game :)
The only issue I ran into initially; was that the game wouldn't load. It would just pop up with a black screen, and freeze. I had to kill its process manually in the terminal.
I was able to get around it by using "-force-opengl" in the launch options. After that everything worked perfectly(including my x360 controller), and I haven't had any further issues. :)
The log can be found here (spaces are escaped for terminal usage):
Sure thing! I've been doing some digging since I got it running, and I think it may be related to this bug(error & fix seemed the same):

But, here's a link to pastebin with some system info; and relevant logfile data: http://pastebin.com/LKJxHxth
Hope it helps!
Thanks for the tip, MysticTempest! I was having the same issue, but the launch option did the trick.
Using Fedora 24 with Intel Iris 5100.
