Sentinel's Gaze - Boneriven

OK, so I've got into the Beneriven cave and fought my way to the end. I can 'see' a ghost creature in the final cave, but cannot fight him. From what I've read I think that's due to not having done 'the Bloodless' quest yet ? I don't even think I know where that is !!

Now I seem stuck as there seems no way out of the Boneriven cave. All I can think to do is a Fast Travel to someplace else. Is this how I'm supposed to get out of the cave ?

this is a bug, but in fact, in this place have a bloodless creature. So, u just need reload the save game and the fast travel will be able to use. I even went through the same you.

Are you supposed to use the fast travel as a way to get around ? Maybe I'm just very old school as I have basically travelled on foot/horse to get everywhere. It means I get to fight the little minions on the way so guess it helps with gaining xp !!

The quest/task interface just seems so unintuative and I really have no clue where I've been or need to go. I seem to have so many quest in progress - I've just been trying to let the game guide me through the progress, but feel like nothing is completing. I'm enjoying the gameplay, but so lost with the story. Maybe I should be re-visiting some of those early places again now I have more abilites, though I still don't have voidwalker ??

As far as I understand it, you really are supposed to use Fast Travel to get out of Boneriven (no matter if you have killed the Bloodless creature here or not). It's really confusing and I can relate to your issue with using FT as standard mode of transportation.

In case you're wondering, you will get the quest 'The Bloodless'...
... from Draven, the undead warrior/move trainer in front of the entrance to the Dead King, where you also meet the Chancellor. Draven will give you a talisman that enables you to see and fight the invisible creatures.
You'd probably have to return and reenter Boneriven, though.

Thanks for the comments on Fast Travel. It does feel a bit like 'cheeting' just Fast Travelling out of some place. Mind you, I did once use it so I could nip back to homebase and top up on health potions as I had none going into a boss battle - so it was useful then... still felt a bit cheaty !!

I'm currently in the Ivory Citedel and have the voidwalker now so pretty sure I've met Draven (as I've 'rescued' the 3 Kings), so I guess I need to check my talismans and equip it ?
