Keep aspect ratio option?

I have to use Borderless Gaming for games that use the AGS engine (Technobabylon, Gemini Rue, etc) because otherwise there is severe mouse acceleration in fullscreen.

BG fixes that problem nicely, but the problem is that AGS games use a 16:10 aspect ratio, so whenever I use BG to run in borderless, the image is stretched horizontally on my 16:9 monitor which really makes the image look terrible.

Is there a way to keep the 16:10 aspect ratio when using BG for games like these?

I have a similar problem. I have a 21:9 ultrawide monitor and the game I want to run doesn't support the aspect ratio / resolution, so if I select the 1920x1080 mode, it just stretches to fit my screen. Another option is to run it windowed but then the border makes the very bottom of the game go below the bottom of the screen. Borderless Gaming just stretches the game to fit my screen if I use it, so it's in no way superior to using the game options.
