1) Open CSD2
2) Right click the Volume icon in the taskbar
3) Click "Open Sound Settings"
4) Click "App volume and device preferences" under "Advanced sound options."
5) Select the proper speaker under "Output" for CSD2. (In my case, I had my laptop connected to the TV and needed to select the TV here.)
6) Restart CSD2

Go to the options-sound menu and let me know if all the music/sound is at above 0%. In rare instances the options file can get corrupted and this might be the issue.

Another issue is that the game is being set incorrectly to another sound device that doesn't output audio. This can happen with a windows update or driver setting that has updated incorrectly. I would download CCleaner and try doing an auto-fix scan of your registry as it tends to solve these kinds of issues quickly.

Oh that is really strange! It might be a steam issue. Email me at support(at)vertigogaming.net and I'll see if we can troubleshoot further, apologies!
